Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian who has been around for quite a while. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. She's appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea first began her career in stand-up comedy in 2011 after playing small roles she played in Irish and British television dramas from 2009. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms later in the year. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on different panel shows, where she has become a fixture. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is a regular contestant in its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. In 2012 she won the So You Believe You're Funny Award for the second time. Her surname is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on March 16, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who took his own life when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father and published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea was raised with her sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, as well as a former professional racer. Her family were fascinated by racing meetings and horses. Bea was initially a tourist guide for the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her true passion was performing and not racing.
